Program Description

Xavier University’s graduate program in health services administration offers a rigorous curriculum that integrates both theory and practical experience. This combination fully equips its students to hold management, executive and other leadership positions in a wide range of fields in the health services industry, including hospitals, health systems, group practice, insurance, long-term care, consulting, government and the military.

Admission Requirements

Domestic students application materials include, but are not limited to:
-Preferred undergraduate grade point average of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale
-Preferred GMAT or GRE scores of 25th percentile or higher in the quantitative section and 50th percentile or higher in the verbal section. Must have official reports sent directly from GRE or GMAT.
-Recommendation forms Two completed recommendation forms (from instructor or employer, family members not accepted)
-Current resume
-Statement of intent: a 1,000 – 1,200 word essay
-Official transcripts from undergraduate institution or anywhere student has taken collegiate level courses
-Personal interviews with Admissions Committee members
-Accounting course grade of a “C” or higher (Proof of grade must be submitted prior to the start of classes)
-Statistics course grade of a “C” or higher (Proof of grade must be submitted prior to the start of classes) International students application materials include, but are not limited to:
